Here at Above & Beyond I take great pride in my hire items and like to protect my business from loss and damages where possible. It is understandable that accidents happen but as some items are bespoke and cant be replaced and repairs are costly, I request a 20% damages fee to cover damages and lost or stolen items. However upon satisfactory return of the hired items the fee will be paid back to you within 28 days of the event date.
Once you are happy with a quote and wish to book Above & beyond event hire to dress your venue, a 20% booking fee which is converted into the damages fee once the items have been delivered to your event will need to be paid to secure your requested date.
All outstanding balances need to be paid in full by 6 weeks prior to your event date.
All bacs payment details are shown on invoices but please ask if you have any issues or questions regarding making payments. I also accept cash or card payments in person and a receipt will be given for your records.
Above & Beyond Event Hire like to make sure products get to and from your venue safely therefore I deliver and collect for my customers, this is free for bookings being hired in the local area. For orders not qualifying for free delivery there is a delivery charge of 45p per mile to deliver to your venue & for collection.
You may collect smaller items from me yourself or ask a family member to collect on your behalf but I do ask please no couriers. Larger items like the backdrops, love letters and sweet cart can only be set up by Above & Beyond Event Hire due to insurance purposes.
Once a booking has been secured by the booking fee, amendments to add more items or to swpa item cost for cost can be made up to 6 weeks prior to your event date and no later.
If you wish to cancel prior to 6 months of the event date I will refund the hire balance amount minus the 20% booking fee and any expenses paid out for requested items, within 3 months unfortunately NO refund is available as I wont be able to reuse the date at such short notice and may have bought items specifically for your event.
CORONAVIRUS UPDATE: FOR ANY EXISTING BOOKINGS WHO HAVE PAID IN FULL OR PARTIALLY UNFORTUNATELY I AM NOT OFFERING REFUNDS WITHIN THE TIME SCALES AS ABOVE IN THE STANDARD TERMS & CONDITIONS HOWEVER I WILL HONOUR ANY NEW DATE SET AND WILL NOT CHARGE ANY EXTRA FOR VENUE OR ADMIN CHANGES. I UNDERSTAND THIS IS A VERY TESTING TIME FOR EVERYONE AND I WILL DO MY BEST TO HELP WITH VENUES ECT.
If we don't have what you need we can order it in specially however in this case to secure the booking and before any orders are made a payment for the hire of that item plus the security deposit must be made. Once ordered, specially ordered items cannot be amended or cancelled from your event.
